Sometimes You Gotta “Feel” The Feels Baby!

Sometimes you just gotta let life be what it is…

You are who you are right now. Whatever it is that you’re going through in your life at this moment in time..

Just let it be what it is..Accept it and Embrace it.

I’m not saying you can’t try to improve things or work to make changes. But don’t make the mistake of denying what it is, because denial will bring misery.

You need to learn Acceptance, You have to accept that this is your reality for the moment, for this will help you learn the path to Happiness.

Resisting your reality is the path of the fool.

You need to understand that what happens to you is not what really matters, It may seem like the world is crashing down around you, but we humans are pretty resilient and can recover from nearly anything.

What does matter is how we frame things. Like is this really the worst thing that has ever happened to you? Or are you just having a bad day. The meaning we give to things is what really matters.

So when unfortunate circumstances arise, don’t go into denial, accept your reality.

If you are sad about something in your life, don’t deny these feelings of sadness and try to push them down with things like booze, drugs or an obsession… Something that we find to replace what we lost in the first place which made you sad.

Also if you put on a fake “Positive Attitude”  and a fake smile..You will probably end up doing more harm than good.

Now let me be clear, I’m not saying you should wallow in your sorrows and curl up in the poor-me chair, making yourself miserable.

But if you really want to get back on your feet again and feel real Happiness. You’re going to have to allow yourself to feel the  “sad”  and allow yourself to process these feelings.

Experience the  “sad”  head on. Look it in the eye and make peace with it.

There is a saying…“What you resist.. persists”

Don’t deny what it is your going through, it will grow inside you and it will work hard to hold you back…So accept what it is, accept the stuff you don’t like, allow it to be what it is, then take what actions you need to take and then move the hell on!

Always remember we have more than just one human emotion, so there is no such thing as feeling  “happy”  all the time. Life is a roller-coaster and so are the emotions.

Even the Happiest of people will eventually get sad…frustrated… And maybe even depressed.

If you are like me, you will want to be able to feel love, joy, and happiness, so be willing to fully feel the other emotions as well, even the crappy ones that don’t feel that good. If you allow yourself too fully  “feel”  the not so good emotions when they happen then you should be able to fully  “feel”  happy and joyous ones as well.
