The First Date

The First Date

I’ve been seeing a lot of posts on social media about people’s first dates, and to be honest they all seem kind of stale. It’s like you guys aren’t even trying to be creative anymore, have you all given up? Well today is your lucky day because I want to help my friends have better first dates. And since it seems I won’t be going on any dates anytime soon (that would require a female counterpart). What better way for me to help then to share my wealth of creative first date ideas.

Now if you’re going on a date with someone for the first time, you need to remember this is your first chance to make a good impression.  Don’t do the standard Dinner and a Movie. (Boring) Show some personality and creativity, don’t do the same old thing you always end up doing, that’s just laziness.

So for those of you who might need some help in the creativity side, I have decided to share some of my creative first date ideas…they worked for me, now they can work for you.

Picnic and a Stakeout…

Find a nice spot to take your date for a picnic, preferably near your ex’s house, then when you see her act like you’re having a great time on your date. It’s fun for everyone.

Sack Lunch and Cotton Tops…

Pack a nice sack lunch for you and your date, then surprise her by volunteering the two of you for an afternoon at a retirement home. You can have fun acting like you’re the old people’s grand kids, If you do it right you might even make some money out of it.

Dessert and a Police Auction…

What’s more romantic than getting your date a bag of Krispy Kreme’s donut’s and going to a police auction, any guy can give a girl flowers, but think of the impression you will make giving her a used bulletproof vest and a can of mace.

Fried Chicken and Gold Panning…

Grab a bucket of KFC and take your date out to the middle of nowhere. Standing in a cold river for two hours while you and your special lady sift through silt and river rock for tiny specks of gold…Guaranteed Winner

Bagels and Breakdancing…

Grab some bagels and a big sheet of cardboard, then you and your date go to a sketchy part of town and start breakdancing, soon a crowd will gather, if they don’t beat you up ,then they will probably join you in the fun.

Corn on the Cob and Book Signing…

Grab some fresh corn of the cob, the perfect travel food, take your date to Hasting’s and the two of you pretend you’re on a book signing tour and start signing books, the customers will never know the difference, and you and your date will have a great story to share.

Apple Pie and Garage Cleaning…

Buy a nice apple pie and invite your date to your house, tell her she is going to help you clean out your garage, and afterwards she can have some apple pie. It’s a great way to tell if she is serious about being in a relationship.

Well hopefully some of these first date ideas will help you out, remember first impressions are important, so don’t do anything stupid.
