It’s A New Year..Still

So if you went into the New Year with no troubles or issues and there is nothing about you that needs to be worked on or improved then don’t read this..you will be wasting time you could be spending doing a fb quiz…

For those of you who had a rough 2014 and are hoping to make 2015 just a wee bit better..Make this your year of the comeback. 2014 may have been rough for many reasons, perhaps you screwed up a fantastic relationship, screwed up at work and got canned, lost a great friendship or perhaps worst of all..stopped going to the gym.
So don’t be too hard on yourself, many people had a rough “14”..Like those people on the Air Asia jet but unlike them you have a chance to make “15” your best year yet.
Okay so the first you should realize is that you are in a crappy situation, of course it sucks but it’s just a phase (sort of like that summer at band camp) but it isn’t your entire life..There is always an ebb and a flow to everything in life, including the good times and the bad times..Chances are your fairly intelligent and semi-capable person right? So you can figure out a way to cope with it….So to deal with the “Ebb” you need to put together a game plan..Figure out what the hell you’re not happy with in your life at the present moment (that’s right now in case you’re wondering)
What’s holding you down? Is it an over demanding girlfriend? Fair weather friends? Once you determine the negative factors in your life, let those them go. Remember, you’re not Atlas. You don’t have to hold up the world’s problems and people. Once you filter out all the crap that is making your life suck then start concentrating on bettering yourself..Now to make this easy on you, and you know you want it easy, you need to work on improving things a little bit at a time (Don’t try going cold turkey on everything, you will most likely fail and feel even worse).
Fill your precious time with things that will boost your self-esteem and make YOU a better version of yourself. For example, Hit the Gym..take a class in something new you have always wanted to try, coach a little league team or take on a new project at work..Once you dive head first into your life again you will start seeing that there’s so much to get excited about.

There’s an old saying called “Fake it until you make it” well, that’s a pretty true statement..You need to project an aura of self-confidence even if you feel like a huge loser inside..If you allow yourself to fall apart every time things start to get tough then it will become your habit..And you don’t want that shit as your habit. Here are a few things that will help you get yourself on the right road, you have heard them a million times..Eat right, Get a good night’s sleep, Set Goals and Present yourself to others as the Rock Star you are to the world and do it each and every day!!

Remember that life is a process, not an event. We are constantly growing, evolving, learning and changing. This rough patch probably upset you, but it doesn’t have to be the end of you. So welcome to the New Year..Make “15” the year of the New You and don’t let the bastards drag you down
